粵語堂事工報告 ／ 梅淑娟牧師
感謝神！在神的大愛、恩典、保守、帶領和加力下，鼓勵粵語堂各兄姊成為「跟隨耶穌的大家庭」，並活出「在愛中扎根、在愛中成長、在愛中行事」的異象與目標。
因此，粤語堂屬靈家庭的各兄姊，本年繼續彼此學習在神的愛裏一起建立這屬靈群體、家人、肢體彼此支援和配搭事奉的關係，及同時鼓勵各兄姊努力與自己家人建立美好的關係和生命見證。
再者，延續過去幾年粵語堂的目標，繼續鼓勵兄姊：
建立個人屬靈生命成長、與神關係和聖經研讀的突破；
也努力鼓勵各事工領袖、小組領袖及兄姊一同起來裝備、更新成長、放下「自我」、在主愛裏彼此學習包容、建立、補足，不但盼望增加粵語堂各小組或事工之間的聯合聚會或活動、更多的交流守望、配搭事奉…的機會；
也嘗試增加粵語堂和國語堂兄姊的交流及彼此配搭事奉的機會，以達至一同同心建立一個「跟隨耶穌的大家庭」。
此外，我們仍在繼續祈禱，並希望我們的教會和會眾能夠熱忱地實踐大使命，向世界各地傳揚福音。
粵語堂2023年其中一些主要事工及活動如下：
1) 禱告事工Prayers Ministry
- 主日崇拜聚會前禱告守望
- 代禱者在小禮堂代禱
- 然後到大堂與兄姊彼此禱告祝福
- 週三晚網上及實體禱告會
- 網上晨禱禱告操練群組
- 為患病肢體禱告守望群組
禱告事工同工分享（Ada Tran）：
禱告表示我們憑信願意交出主權，讓神成就祂的美意，榮耀祂的名。神會負責結果，而過程是人需要學習參與。禱告團爭取每個禱告的機會，期望建立時常禱告的屬靈群體。
今年五月國丶粵語堂一班弟兄姊妹參加了「興起南加州禱告會」，很珍貴的機會與國語堂並其他教會的弟兄姊妹一同敬拜和進深學習，並以禱告修復與地上父親之關係進而修復與天父關係
2) 接待組及關懷新朋友事工
事工團隊領袖分享 (Alex Kwan提供):
今年「接待組」及「新朋友歡迎組」繼續一起分擔服事教會會友及新朋友的“任務”。感謝神給我們團隊有合一的心，今年粵語堂有多個福音主日及特別的聚會，看到弟兄姊妹的互相配搭及謙卑服事的心，在母親節和父親節裡為國粵語堂預備包裝禮物。這一切都是神的恩典，願神繼續祝福我們的教會，讓更多新朋友認識福音。

交通組服事團隊在每個主日或特別聚會均預早在教會門外停車場範圍提供支援給到訪教會者。

小組區導師與組長的一些分享
傳恩區區導師Raino To分享：
COVID 19 疫情的關係, 恩泉和頌恩兩個小組這幾年都用Zoom , go to meeting舉行網上聚會, 取其安全,方便, 是首要選擇!
兩組在今年已突破只能在網上聚集,不能有實体接觸的困境, 舉行了一些週六戶外活動（包括：聯合6公里公園、及燒烤活動）。大家充滿著喜樂、笑容和投入! 連行動不便的組員也有出席，聚會盛況空前!
另外，小組也多次聚集在弟兄姊妹家中吃晚飯，慶生會和到外邊餐館吃飯聚集等等，爭取實體團契聚會的機會!
感謝恩泉和頌恩的組長們和核心成員的努力! 就如經上說：無論得時與不得時，務要傳道! (提後4:2）感謝神! 困境中也有新人參加活動!
願明年傳恩區可以回歸實體小組團契聚會，脫離病毒梱鎖，雖然艱難，但神豈有難成的事! 因祂能在曠野開道路，祂能在沙漠開江河! Amen!
E-power小組組長 Angel Chu分享:
主耶稣於升天前頒佈大使命，差遣門徒往普天下去傳平安的福音使萬民作主的門徒，奉父子、聖靈的名為他們施洗，又要教導信徒認識和遵守真理，並且傳承達大使命。今年E-Power小组仍然堅守崗位把福音傳给未信主的學生。目前小组有五位導師及五位组員。在最新的一年展望能够接觸更多的海外在美留學生，把福音廣傳，使他們生命不再一樣。願神在他們生命中晝出彩虹照亮更多未信主的朋友。今年在神的帶領下，發揮最好的團隊精神給未信的组員得到有效牧養。希望小组能不斷的壯大及訓練出新的領袖，把E-Power小组事工做到榮神益人。
迦勒小組組長Vicky Zhu分享: 生命的蛻變
迦勒小組在2023可謂是進入神豐盛之年，當中看到生命的蛻變、堅壯，完全是上主的恩典和祝福。
從年初開始為教會粵語堂每個弟兄姊妹預備每月的生日禮物，與數個小組聯合聚會從神領受年輕人的陪伴與祝福；受難節與復活節之間的信心火車之旅，尋找那復活之源。
個別組員更經歷兩個月每天清晨週一至週五不間斷的復興禱告，從個人到家庭到教會和國家，經歷神靈與火的洗禮，突破個人禱告和群體禱告的障礙，感染了身邊年輕的弟兄姊妹；6K步行籌款活動期間全小組經歷群體讚美、禱告帶來神的釋放，及往後小組群體禱告的操練並在某些主日崇拜前在祭壇前（大堂）合一的禱告！這些都是長者們的突破，更是上帝的榮耀！
信心是扎根在上帝的信實話語上面，以致他們的信心不動搖。8月底一半數的小組組員參加了梅牧師授課的茁苗課程學習。
在行動和學習上這些長者們都不輸年輕一輩，看到他們臉上每一個真切可愛的笑容，彼此打氣慰問及鼓勵，週日小組後一同午餐，猶如家人們一樣的親近。這些都是人的作為嗎？斷乎不是！唯有上帝的愛在他們中間，才能有這樣深厚的愛！

粵語堂本年約有二十多位新朋友或兄姊接受初信栽培（「茁苗」、「永生的第一年」）或「浸禮及會友課程」，三位兄姊接受洗禮，及十位兄姊申請加入本會成為會員。

Cantonese Zone Report ／ Rev. Edith Mui
Thank God! Under God’s great love, grace, protection, guidance and strengthening, we encourage brothers and sisters in Cantonese Family to become “A family that follows Jesus” and live out “rooted in love, growing in love and acting in love” vision and goals. Therefore, brothers and sisters in Cantonese Zone spiritual family will continue to learn from each other this year to build a relationship of mutual support and coordinated service among spiritual groups, families, and members in the love of God, and at the same time we encourage each brother and sister to work hard with their own families and build good relationships and testimonies. Furthermore, continuing the goals of Cantonese Zone in the past few years, keep encouraging brothers and sisters: establish personal spiritual life growth, relationship with God and breakthroughs in Bible study.
We also strive to encourage all ministry leaders, group leaders and brothers and sisters to work together to equip, renew and grow, let go of “self”, and learn to tolerate, build up and complement each other in the love of the Lord.
We not only hope to build closer relationship between various groups or ministries teams in the Cantonese Zone through providing more opportunities of joint gatherings or activities, more exchanges, and coordinated services.
We also try to increase more opportunities for Cantonese Zone and Mandarin Zone to cooperate and connect with each other and serving each other, to work together to build a “Family that follows Jesus.” Also, we’re keep praying and hoping our church and congregants be passionate in living out the Great Commission and preach the gospel near and far to their world.
Cantonese Zone 2023 some major ministries and events are follows:
1) Prayers Ministry
- Sunday prayer meeting before worship service ~
- intercessors pray in the chapel
- then go to the sanctuary to pray with brothers and sisters
- Wednesday Night Online and in-person Prayer Meeting
- Online Morning Prayer practice group
- Special prayer groups to support serious sickness b/s

This May brothers and sisters from both C and M zones joined the SoCal prayer conference. It was a wonderful time to worship and learn about the power of gathering in the name of the Lord. In order to have deeper relationships with our Heavenly Father, we had a chance to restore the relationship with our earthly father thru prayer.

Ministry Team leader’s sharing (by Alex Kwan) :
This year’s “Usher Team” and “New-Comers Welcome Team” continue to share the “task” of serving church members and new friends. Thank you God, for giving our team a unified heart. Czone have had several gospel Sundays and special events, and we can see our brother and sister coordinate with each other’s and serve with humble heart, such as prepare Mother’s and Father’s Day gifts for both zones’ parents. All this is God’s grace, may God continue to bless our churches and let more new friends know the gospel.

The Traffic team serves in every Sunday or special events standing outside the church parking lot to support every church attendees.

Zone Supervisor Raino To’s sharing:
Due to the COVID 19 epidemic, “kindness” and “Praise Grace” groups have been using Zoom and go to meetings to hold online gatherings in the past few years. Whichever is safer and more convenient is the first choice!
This year, the two groups have overcome the dilemma of being able to gather online without physical contact, and held some Saturday outdoor activities (including: a joint 6-kilometer park and barbecue activities). Everyone was full of joy, smiles and devotion! Even team members with limited mobility were present, making the party an unprecedented event!
In addition, the group has also gathered many times at brothers and sisters’ homes for dinners, birthday celebrations, and outside restaurants to gather opportunities for physical fellowship gatherings!
Thank you for the efforts of the team leaders and core members of the two groups! Just as the Bible says：Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. (2 Timothy 4:2) Thank God! There are also new people participating in activities in difficult times!
I hope that next year our cell groups can return to physical group fellowship gatherings and break away from the shackles of the virus. Although it is difficult, nothing is impossible for God! Because He can make a way in the wilderness, and He can make rivers in the desert! Amen!
E-power Cell group leader Angel Chu’s sharing:
The Lord Jesus promulgated the Great Commission before he ascended to heaven, sending his disciples to preach the gospel of peace throughout the world to make all nations his disciples. He baptized them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He also taught believers to know and abide by the truth, and passed on and fulfilled the Great Commission. This year the E-Power team still sticks to its duty to preach the gospel to unbelievers. Currently, the group has five instructors and five team members. In the latest year, I hope to contact more overseas students in the United States and spread the gospel so that their lives will never be the same again. May God send a rainbow in their lives to illuminate more unbelievers. This year, under the leadership of God, we will use our best team spirit to provide effective pastoral care to unbelievers. I hope that the group can continue to grow and train new leaders, so that the E-Power group ministry can glorify God and benefit people.
Caleb Cell Group Leaders Vicky Zhu’s sharing: Transformation of Life
The Caleb group can be said to have entered the year of God’s abundance in 2023. The transformation and strength that we have been seen are totally because of the grace and blessing of our Father God.
All these are starting from the beginning of the year, we committed to prepare birthday gifts for every brother and sister in the Cantonese zone every month. We have fun and laughter gatherings with some other cell groups, the companionship and blessings of young people from God. We also went on a faith train journey between Good Friday and Easter to extend the meditation of Christ’ resurrection.
We have RPG (Revival Prayer Group) morning calls among some sisters last for two months, a non-stop revival prayers every morning from Monday to Friday. Praying from individuals to families to churches and countries, we have experienced the baptism by the fire of God, broke through the barriers of personal prayer and group prayers, and obstacles. And also inspired some of the younger brothers and sisters. During the 6K walk fundraising, the whole group experienced the corporate praise and prayer to bring down the deliverance of God. Before some Sunday services, we hand in hand and prayed in the sanctuary, giving our praises to Father God and seeking the glory of God shining upon His children. These are the breakthroughs of the elders, all glory be to God.
Faith is rooted in the words of God, so that our faith does not waver. Starting from end of August, nearly half of the group members started the “Fellow up” nurturing class taught by Rev Mui.
These elders are not inferior to the younger generation in terms of actions and studies. Seeing every purity and lovely smile on their faces, cheering and encouraging each other, and having lunch together after the group on Sunday, we are as close as family members. Are these all by our acts? Absolutely not! Only God can do this among us showing His love to His children!

13) Baptism Ceremony
This year, we have 20 new-comers and brothers & sisters to attend the Faith-seeking & conviction Course “Fellow Up”, Faith-building course “First year of Eternal Life”, as well Baptism and membership Course. Three of them decided baptism and ten applied to be members of our church.
